Day 2: Quoddy Head beach, hike to Western Head
After checking out the Quoddy Head lighthouse, we walked down and stayed on the beach there for hours. I discovered tidal pools while the tide was out.

(a red squirrel, much smaller than grey ones we are used to):
Our B&B host suggested the hike to Western Head, below Cutler and around the Little River.
We were alone the whole time on that hike (3 hours or so).
The trail was very pretty and moss covered, including the trees.
The board walk was well maintained and covered with chicken wire to prevent slipping.
I loved this collaborative sculpture we found on one beach we passed.
Folks had picked and added rocks to the large tree's root system.
We also added one each and placed them nestled together. See them above, left side, and below.
